The 18" tall Cajon is constructed of solid 14mm thick Tulypiel Wood (Indian Heartwood), which is carved on the inside, and creates the unique, resonating sound. The sharp and striking tone can be adjusted with the 16 adjustable vertical strings placed against the ergonomically curved Apple Wood frontplate. Apple Wood is commonly used in home decor and adds a new dimension of beauty and elegance to this Cajon. Find your optimal sound by easily adjusting the two tuning screws on the bottom for tight or loose string tension. This Cajon also stands strong on the formulated soft rubber feat and comes with a tuning key.
