This is an original Violin from 1818. Almost 200 years old!Joseph Fischer (1769 - 1834) made violins in Regensburg, Germany. Ratisbona is another name for Regensburg.I am not an expert on Violins, but research showed me that this Violin is worth $2,500. There is 1 string missing which I have the replacement for but would leave it to a violin expert to re-thread as I fear I would damage the instrument. It comes with a bow and a very old looking case potentially from the same time period. Has a slightly musty smell but being 2 centuries old it would be hard not to and im sure it could be aired out.
