This may be the best 12 playing and sounding 12 string on the market. And, I'm dropping the price.I was wrong originally, Kottke was a great 12 string player, and Taylor put his name in inlay on the 12th fret on
the top of their line model. These were rare. While you can put heavy gauge strings and tune it down, it's been tuned
to concert pitch for decades and the neck is perfect.I have a receipt actually signed by Taylor himself. It is a magical sounding guitar, and yet it plays like butter. Big, beautiful, responsive magical sweet tone. All solid woods, old growth spruce top, ebony fingerboard, and mahogany sides and back.It sat in a case for 22 years, and is mint. The woods are are all old growth lumber, and then they've aged another 22 years. This guitar is stable! Some of the pictures I downloaded from another Taylor 12, as they looked identical, with the exception that mine has the Kotke on the fingerboard and
more colorful back. It's mint!!! That was for convenience. Those pictures looked identical except for the two I added. And I made a short video of it, using only an Ipad 2 On youtube /watch?v=-_mRD0wZZvcBut go to you tube and find examples of people that actually play 12 string guitars regularly.
or On my video, I say some stupid things. This was an estate guitar, and I relied on what I was told before doing more research.I am however an expert jazz and classical guitar player, and have played the finest guitars in the world, including
D'Angelico's and D'Aqustos and this neck compares to them, and the sound is magical. I personally have no use for
flat top 12 string guitars for my style of playing.
facebook.com/robert.comarow/videos/10154906641069591/Bob Please ask questions prior to bidding.
I will consider trades for a great classical cutaway.
I reserve the right to sell locally and end the listing early. The guitar is in Davis, California, outside Sacramento.
I would love if you tried it out and avoided all shipping. If you want an incredibly easy to play, great sounding 12 string, don't let this pass your buy. With all my guitars, love it or return it per EBAY rules.
