I bought this guitar for £1049 in November 2015, brand new from Andertons in Guildford. I spent ages choosing the right one - I tested loads of great guitars and this one really stood out. It hasn't had much use since then, I've used it at a few rehearsals and a couple of gigs, but that's it. Unfortunately for the last few months pressure of work has meant the guitar has been untouched and left in it's case, and as it seems a shame for a guitar as good as this not to be played, I've decided to sell.The guitar plays beautifully, the action is great and it's not too heavy. The sound from the pickups is amazing, typically glassy Fender sounds, but with the benefit of silent pickups, and of course the hard hitting, powerful Shawbucker in the bridge, which to my ears is so much better than a standard Strat pickup in that position. As you can see from the Fender diagram in the pic, the guitar is really versatile with two great features - a series/parallel switch which gives a different tonality to the sound, and an "everything up to 11" switch which bypasses all the controls and maximises the volume.At the other end the locking tuners are just brilliant, you can change a string instantly and the guitar just never goes out of tune - fantastic.I played this guitar through a valve amp (Fender Pro Junior) and it sounds amazing, with a really versatile range of sounds, from typical clean Fender chimes to throaty humbucker, it does the lot.The guitar comes with all the tags, the hard case, and the push-in whammy bar.
