This is an early 1980's BC Rich Phoenix. The necks on these were made by Waybe Charvel when he worked for BC Rich. The finish is all original, sort of a dark tobacco sunburst. I believe all the hardware was swapped with gold/brass. Nothing cheap, gold Grover Imperial tuners (no added holes, looks stock), not sure of the bridge, Schaller would be a good guess, gold pickup rings, brass toggle switch, etc. The string tree was replaced, you can see the two original holes have been nicely filled and they are covered by the new string tree. The guitar is in clean overall condition. Shows some light scratches and tiny dings, a few little paint chips at the edges. No cracks, repairs or overspray. The neck is straight, the frets look almost perfect, truss rod adjusts fine. The pickups are the original Dimarzio's, I think some of the electronics have been upgrade (everything a pro job). The guitar plays and sounds great, no issues. The neck has a comfortable mid C profile. The nut is a shade under 1 5/8". Weighs 9.04 pounds.
