The Model 292C, known as Quad Lopass Gate, consists of four audio channels capable of altering Tone (VCF), Amplitude (VCA) or Both (LPG). Each channel has individual audio outputs and all four channels are available together via the MIX output. Each CV input per channel is located in such a way that banana shorting bars can couple the Model 281 envelope outs directly to the CV inputs. Although its function is quite simple, the Model 292C LDR topology (Vactrols are employed) is a cornerstone of the West Coast sound, combined with the Model 259 and Model 281, making it a necessity in any DON B Oriented 4U system.
