Pearl Reference Gong Drum - Model RF2014G/C393Color is Purple Craze II #393 which is a slight variation on the Purple Craze #193 finish. I have a mix of the two on my kit and several drummers who have seen it said they wouldn't have known if they weren't told about it.This 20" x 14" single headed gong drum is mounted by two BT-3 Tom Mounts, one located on each side of the drum. Also comes fitted with a Remo Powerstroke Head. Any Pearl Tom Holder or accessory (like a UX-80 Universal Adapter) with a 7/8 post can be used to mount the drum. NO holders or adapters are included with this drum.The shell composition is 4 inner plies of Mahogany and 2 outer plies of Maple.This drum is BRAND NEW from Pearl, and has not been played. Has only been removed from the box for photographs.Also this finish has been discontinued in the US, making it an even more rare drum to acquire!
