This auction is for a Dr Z Maz 18 Jr 2X10 Combo. This is the non-reverb model. It was built August 2012 so it is one of the later versions of this amp. Fantastic Tone from a small package. Use it for clubs, use it for home, use it for the studio. This amp can do it all.If you need to learn more about how this amp sounds, do a YouTube search. It's the amp of choice for the "Dude" himself, Gearmandude. Leaning more towards the Fender meets Marshall crowd, this amp uses a pair of cathode biased EL84's and gives you incredible cleans, nice grit and total grind when cranked. Don't let the 18 watts fool you, it's loud. Buddy Whittington has used this amp on stage with a backing band. Takes pedals extremely well and has an effects loop. I have always preferred the 2X10 version of this combo amp as it gives you 20" of speaker vs the 12".The amp is an excellent condition. Overall very clean and it has not seen much playing time, mostly in my smoke free, pet free home studio. It's all original, even the tubes. The NR delivers rich singing tones from single coils and sweet British crunch from humbuckers. Coupled with a Z Best cab, the Maz 18 NR can hang on any large club stage. The 1×12 or 2×10 combos are excellent grab and go gig/studio amps.The front panel features Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass, Master, and the ever versatile Cut control. Think of the Cut as a tone knob for the output tubes. The back panel features a 4,8, and 16 ohm speaker out. An effects loop and our EQ bypass function is also standard.
