Bitting a bullet to thin the herd...
Up for sales is an absolutely gorgeous looking/sounding Fender USA Select Strat. Bought about 2 years ago and I'm the original owner. Specs include 9.5-14" compound radius, medium jumbo frets, locking tuners, and premium flame maple top.It was a fantastic guitar right out of the bat, but I went ahead and took it to the next level.
Bridge stock humbucker was replaced with a Suhr SSV (PAF style), bridge tone pot was replaced with a push pull pot to go between series/parallel and a treble bleed circuit on the volume was added to keep the clarity when rolling down the volume. All of that made the bridge humbucker sound much more focused and open (I know those two words don't go together... gotta play it to see what I mean ha!) and made the guitar a lot more versatile.As the stock humbucker had 2 screw holes, when I took it to a shop to change it out, a tech filled the old holes. It's visible when you're close to the guitar- in case that might bother someone, I'll throw in another new white pickguard. Guitar has normal play wears mostly on the back side. For what it's worth, I can tell you this one won out some of custom shop models I was comparing back and forth at the shop before I bought it.
