This is a 1985 Gibson Les Paul "Custom Shop Edition.". It's basically an R9 from before the Historic Division existed. -Mahogany back and neck
-Gorgeous cherry sunburst flame maple top
-Rosewood fretboard
-Shaw neck pup, Classic 57 bridge pup
-9 pounds, 2 ounces It is 30 years old, and it had been played, but it is an excellent value when compared to the reissues that are out there.
Damages/Disclosures (I've done my best to photograph these things):
-There is some checking and peeling of the finish on the headstock, and there is some buckle rash on the back (but nothing goes through the finish or into the wood).
-It has had a professional refret.
-Tuners were switched, but are back to the original Klusons now. There are holes from the change, though.
-Regular playwear/pick marks/swirling
-Guitar comes with the ORIGINAL case, which has a loose handle.
