A harp of 23 Tynex nylon strings tuned from G below middle C up to high A.The harp is made of cherry wood. The back is of birch ply and soundboard is aircraft birch. It is finished in natural tung oil. No dyes or stains are used, the wood is the natural color. The tuning pins are antique plum brown steel taper pins. The string shoes are antiqued aluminum. The strings are mounted by means of aluminum toggles. The back is permanently sealed to enhance the sound quality and he strings are mounted though string holes in the front. Changing strings is very simple.The harp is made to look, feel, and play like old Gaelic low-head wire harps. Of course, it doesn't sound like a wire harp, see my other listings for that. It has its own unique sound taking into account all the considerations that make a small harp sound good.The harp is 31" tall, 18" deep, 10½" wide and weighs about 4½ pounds. It comes with the tuning wrench and extra string toggles.This harp was hand made by one craftsman. The maker is also the seller. is a clip of this harp being played.The harp can be shipped to some countries but not others due to the size of the shipping crate.
