This is a Vintage Mcpherson model J 50M acoustic/Electric from what we can find is from the late 70's to early 80's built at the Japan factory and this is serial and production number 5. Guitar is clean and neck and frets are excellent. Action is very nice, plays and sounds wonderful. Looks to be all original but there is not a lot of info on these models out there. There are a few scratches and dings but not bad at all. the laquer on the front of the headstock has turned a white ish color over the years. There is one top crack that i show in the pics. It is not wide, very thin and i can not tell if its through or not but looks very stable, its about four inches long. Guitar plays and looks awesome. These are rare. No case but we can mummy wrap this one and pro ship. thanks much
