This is arguably the best sounding production Les Paul model Gibson has came up with! It looks fantastic too! I couldn’t get it on camera, but on the Flame Top is very nice. Search the web for Les Paul Standard Faded and see all the raving reviews of this guitar.
The BurstBucker Pro pickups sound absolutely fantastic! To my ears they are some of the best re-creations of the famous PAF pickups; much more interesting and clearer sounding then '59s
The "Faded" style satin finish does make it appear to be older than it's manufacturing date, but I suppose that that was the point. Gibson ceased production of the Les Paul Faded around 2008 so here's your chance to own one. I have way too many guitars and the Mrs. insists that I cull the herd.So, my friends, "happy wife, happy life" this one has to go. I've listed this guitar at less than I paid for it but just the same I will consider reasonable offers. I will ship to the Continental US free of charge, Alaska, Hawaii & PR will be additional.
