This is a hard drive that you can install in your computer which holds all of the sounds from the East West Play Composers edition software. This is a very strong vst with many sounds ranging from electric guitar to the most beautiful strings and other orchestral instruments. Each of these is about $300 separately. And if you were to buy this exact thing from East West it would be $1,000. I upgraded all of the packages to the 'Gold mics' which is an option that costs extra which gives you the ability to simulate each sound closer up like it was recorded with a close mic.
