Pleiades microphone filter.Most directional microphones start increasing their response below 1KHz! when used at a distance of <1in.The Pleiades filter compensates by starting decreasing below 1KHz. It is made of the state of the art Magnetec 073 Nanocrystalinne core.The 073 tape wound core fits exactly inside the Neutrik Modules.Various cut off frequencies can be ordered. Reserving the right to make changes including appearance.The cutoff frequency is altered by changing the number of turns wound on the 073. The resultant inductor is connected to pins 2 and 3. The parallel connection ensures the simplest possible signal path and the greatest possible sound quality.
