This beautiful horn has the experts I know disagreeing but I am going to say its been refinished and quite expertly.
That was done a very long time ago. The overhaul was just completed using large brass resos and done by a pro who overhauled Dave Liebman's BA tenor and several horns for Jerry Bergonzi.
It is setup very well and playing beautifully top to bottom.
The horn has been exceptionally well cared for and there is no damage, repairs or resolders.
Comes in a vintage generic case in good clean functional condition.For richness of tone you will be hard-pressed to find a sweeter more expressive horn. The intonation is very good and in my opinion the tone is superior to that of Mark VI and later horns. This is a handmade gem in tip top playing condition and needing nothing.
