1953 Gibson LG-3 in stunning original natural finish. This is the best acoustic guitar I have ever played. I bought from a bluegrass elder at a guitar show in Nashville. It is loud and crisp. Action is low with no buzzing all the way up and down. It's set up great and plays like a dream. Original Spruce top is a really nice piece of wood, the grain is stunning, super warm and loud tones. This old LG-3 has had its fair share of trials and tribulations over the last 60+ years but it is still standing and just needs to find a new partner. Most would agree that the early post-war period of the 1950's was the high water mark for Gibson. Their craftsmanship was unmatched and the tone-woods they had access to were second to none. I live in Miami, FL. The guitar stays in it's case in an air conditioned dry room.
