Nice example of 1984 Gibson Explorer out of the Nashville factory in very good playing condition with just some typical minor cosmetic blemishes for a guitar of this age . Finish is still quite good . This example is all black with silver hardware featuring an unusual tremolo from what I've seen in other explorers but is original from the factory. Awesome sound out of the Dirty Fingers pickups. Frets have a little wear in the top three and middle areas but lots of life left . Headstock looks really good with just a couple scratches and small dings. Body in nice shape overall with a little buckle rash as well as some general dings and scratches not through the finish. The original screws became stripped at the strap locks so they were filled with a dowel and have not been drilled yet and of course those will be put back on before shipping ....I have shown pictures of this . New strings have been installed , fretboard and all hardware cleaned and the guitar sounds amazing . A rock machine!! The original case has some wear and tear as shown and the middle clasp works but two locking hasps do not. Interior is in nice shape. Please contact me if you have questions or would like some more pictures.
