1975 Sakazo Nakade No.2000 guitar - very high grade model with perfect Brazilian Rosewood back and sides and the same 9-fan bracing as used by Ignacio Fleta.
Sakazo Nakade is considered the father of Japanese guitar building. He built to pure spanish guitar building tradition with fan bracing having studied the art of luthiery in Spain, and the name Nakade lived on with his sons also building.The sound of this guitar is very pure, very even notes with no silly overtones. lots of warmth with heaps of tone colour range between dolce and ponticello. deep strong base, lyrical trebles. Great volume and projection.
Specs:Soundboard: solid European SpruceBack and Sides: solid Brazilian RosewoodNeck: MahoganyFretboard: African EbonyScale: 650mm Nut: 52mmBracing: 9 fan (identical to Fleta guitars) - 4 braces on back.Tuners: Der Jung 18:1 ratio (not original but work beautiful) 35mm roller spacing.action is a very comfortable ~4.5mm at 12th fret for 6th string and ~3.5mm for 12th fret at first string. room to lower on saddle if needed.The condition is excellent. no cracks. the guitar has previously been completely re-finished in Tru-oil for the whole guitar. no bellowing around the bridge.
