Here is a very cool '69 Reissue O Serial CIJ (1997-2000) Fender Mustang in my favourite stang colour, factory Sonic Blue. This really is a killer looking guitar, the sonic blue wth red tort pickguard are the perfect combination for me. Like all MIJ Mustangs it's true to the vintage Fender spec, with the '69 contoured body, rosewood fingerboard, button tuners, 3-ply pickguard and fender stamped neckplate. It plays like a dream too, very resonant with plenty of Mustang attitude. The rosewood fingerboard is beautifully grained and the neck shows some pretty intense maple flaming up and down right through to the top of the headstock, very rare for Mustangs. She's in great condition throughout with no mods, breaks or repairs. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. This has clearly been very well cared for with just a couple minuscule nicks here and there. Complete with gig bag and trem arm. Built immaculately as you'd expect from Fender Japan. A very nice 1969 vintage specification Mustang in a pretty cool colour. No more Mustangs are being built by Fender in Japan since production was moved to Mexico to cut costs, so snap up these beautifully crafted guitars while you still can.
