This thing is a babe. Fabulous condition, Zero issues with no breaks. Had different tuners on it at one point and the extra screw holes were filled and a set of vintage single line kluson strip tuners were reinstalled. A bit of playwear and a small ding on the side that was touched up as well assmall pick guard shrinkage cracks by soundhole that were fixed but nothing serious, plugged jack hole & strap button. Beautiful finish is still quite strong and impressive . The tone is why these guitars are always in such demand. Dry and woody with great bass and sweet highs. Nice neck too - not that baseball bat profile but more of a slender comfortable D shape that I personally enjoy. I know there may be some questions as 1950 J45's usually had the smaller teardrop guard , however , there were examples produced with the large guard. This too was confirmed by Gruhn as well as the manufacture date of this J45.This is a great old J45 at a steal...She comes with its original brown chipboard case but I have a hard case as well if wanted. Great deal on a great J45Thx for looking-
