Nice vintage guitar case, this is an early 60's case that Gibson used for some models. In good shape for its age, no apparant repairs, all feet and Excelsior latches work, original handle, feet and that metal strip on the heel. There is no Gibson badge near the handle and no holes where brads would have been. Yellow inside still intact, even the ribbon  (a little frayed) on the pocket lid. No rips or tears, stitching is tight. Impressions on the inside made us think it was for a small archtop. But there's a guitar inside that fit's it like a glove. Model LG0, from around the same time, maybe a little later. No cracks, just normal scratches here and there. Neck straight, low action. No trussrod . Serial 79268. Somewhere in this old workhorses's past the plastic bridge was replaced by a rosewood one, but reversed of a true replacement (using what's on hand?). Scale length is pretty spot on, Sweet little all-mahogany Gibson from a golden age. Buy the case, guitar comes with it.
