70's rackmountable Moog MKPE three band fully parametric equalizer. Each separate band extends over a huge frequency range! Low band is 31hz to 4000hz,  Mid band is 62 to 8000hz  High Band is 125hz to 16000hz.  Frequency bandwidth are fully adjustable from extreme narrow to wide bandwidth.  Cut or Boost up to 20db Lots of room for frequency overlaps and a whole range of tonal cutting and boosting with this! It's pretty endless what you can do with these three overlapping bands. Lots of room to tailor and tweak.   It will almost generate tuned resonance at a low frequency at the right settings, taking an anemic kick for instance and rendering it huge and tuned.  Cool as well for electronic music and sound design. The mids and highs are crazy robust sounding too, and at extreme settings it starts to sounds as much like a moog synth filter as a rather aggressive eq. It'll impart a lot of additional attitude and juice into a synth,  both analog or digital, lots of possibilities for this tone monster. Overall nice shape, rare and one of a kind moog eq and complete.  Cosmetically some normal rack wear and scratches on 40 year old unit, check pics, could use a clean and shine, but it's all there and works.  The pots are a tiny bit scratchy here and there, pretty minor, mainly lack of use, as this one's been a spare and been in dry storage, so with a bit of usage, it'll be fine and is ready to rock in its present state.  Uses unbalanced 1/4" in and outs for simple hook up.  Check out my other auctions for excellent and increasingly rare vintage gear, including a pair of Altec 9061a Program Equalizers, Cinema Engineering Program EQ, Maxson/Langevin Limiting Amp, Fed Aviation amp and a Federal AM-864 Limiting amplifier.  Over the coming weeks I'll be listing more vintage audio gear I've acquired over the years.
