Hi! I have Martin 00-18, 1972 for sale. It was bought by me in the USA this year.The guitar is in excellent condition, no cracks, the neck is simple, the action of the strings is very convenient. The instrument tunes perfectly in any position, it was not repaired. The only thing done by the previous owner was an exchange of frets in the 90s as can be seen in the pictures. Of course it has a few scratches, but they do not interfere with the wood and do not affect the sound (you can see them in the pictures).
Top plate made of solid spruce top, back and sides Solid mahogany, fingerboard BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD.
This particular guitar is undoubtedly a huge rarity precisely because of the fingerboard made of Brazilian rosewood, which is very expensive and valued material for building guitars. It is no longer used in any ’18’ Martins.The sound is hard to describe .. guitar is very loud, distinctive Martin’s sound. Ideal for fingerstyle and not only Emotikon smile
Guitar has an electronics, which was installed b a previous owner in the 80s. Unfortunately, he could not tell me the exact type. It is known only that it is an American production piezo. After connecting it sounds perfectly.
