Fender American Vintage '59 StratocasterRegrettably, I have to sell my Strat to pay for another purchase. This is a Fender American Vintage 1959 RI Stratocaster in Sherwood Green Metallic, which I believe is either a late 1950's Buick or Cadillac color. I think this is a 2014 model (not 100% positive of the year) and is in very good overall condition. There are some small, minor impressions and dimples on the body but nothing serious. There's also an extremely minor amount of flaking around the trem cavity and some hazing on the hardware. The frets show no appreciable wear. The neck is a medium "D" shape and is very comfortable, not overly slim but still with enough wood to dig into. The rosewood fingerboard is VERY dark, dense and smooth. The action is very low and spongy and this Strat has a very pliable feel, extremely easy to play. Acoustically, the guitar is very resonant. It's dry and woody toned with a nice "thunk" to the attack. Through an amp, it's on the warmer, rounder side. It's full sounding for a Strat but still maintains that nice, Stratty bell like chime. Total weight is 7.48 lbs.
