BEAUTIFUL HANDCRAFTED SANKYO GRENADILLA WOOD FLUTE WITH SOLID SILVER KEYWORK, CLOSED-HOLES, OFFSET G, SPLIT E AND B-FOOTSankyo have been making flutes since 1968 and their flutes are acclaimed all over the world for beauty of tone and evenness of technique. Each instrument is hand-made from carefully selected materials and is constructed to a very high standard. Sankyo maintain that they have pursued the 'perfect scale' by building a precise mechanism and hand manufacturing every pad. The Sankyo grenadilla wood flute is made from carefully selected aged grenadilla wood and is matched with sterling silver mechanism and keywork with 10K white gold springs. It has been very carefully looked after and can be described as beautiful condition throughout. The pads are 2 years old and have plenty of life left and the mechanism has been adjusted and plays perfectly. This is the closed-hole model with the offset G and split E mechanism but with the added bonus of a B-Foot. These flutes are exceptionally hard to find in the used market and currently retail for £10,750.
