Gibson Les Paul Standard 2000 Silver Sparkle Les Paul Limited Edition Here is a very rare Gibson Les Paul Standard Silver Sparkle from 2000.  These were a Gibson exclusive run, built in very limited numbers back in 2000 for select dealers and were not readily available across retail outlets. This one was born on Feb 23rd, 2000 in Nashville. She has a slimmer 60's profile neck and of course dates from before Gibson first began chambering the Standards. As you can see the rare 'Silver Sparkle' top on this is pretty stunning, set off really well imo with the cream binding and black mahogany back and neck. It plays beautifully as good as a custom shop Les Paul as many other have noted from this run. The pickups sound amazing. It's in wonderful condition and has absolutely no breaks, repairs or mods. She is all factory spec just as she came out of Nashville. She still has her factory fitted Grovers and all the hardware is untarnished with a nice shine to it. Heaps of life in the frets, the truss rod is fine and the neck is straight. No electrical problems, nice & sharp defined sound. She's pre-owned so not mint condition, but is excellent. No harsh wear, buckle rash or anything noticeable, just some light marks & some fine finish lines in the clearcoat around the binding and faceplate, looks like a it might have come out of the factory like this, or maybe just age. Not sure, but it's not an issue. Comes with original brown/tan Gibson hard shell case.  A very rare Gibson Les Paul
