This is the 7th Gourd banjo to come out of my small one man shop in Charlottesville, Virginia. Will post video on youtube so you can hear it.

*Goatskin tacked heads
*Ornate friction pegs of rosewood and boxwood
California grown bottle gourd
* nylgut mintrel strings
*handmade bridge/ leather strap
* Sounds Best in G andA! Great for playing with fiddlers, and singing with.
Its a great banjo. Has a peaceful,resonant, oltimey sound with good sustain, and rich low and mid range.
