1970 signed Tamura P60 (top model that year)660 mm scale52mm nutSolid Ezo SpruceSolid SA (Brazilian) Rosewood back and sidesEbony fingerboardNew Gotoh tunersThis Hiroshi Tamura is structurally excellent and cosmetically good.  It's cashew lacquer finish still looks good but has some nicks, nail marks, and a scuff on the end of the body. This P60 has the deep soulful sound with strong basses and clear trebles that Tamura's best guitars are noted for.  Tamura's top model was made with solid, high quality woods, but without the frills. Aged SA rosewood and Ezo spruce are quite rare and this vintage model still has retained its beautiful tonal qualities.  It is braced like a Ramirez 1A and the interior sides are lined with cedar like the 1A as well.  And although not as pretty as many guitars are these days, it is powerful, balanced, and loud and clear, and you will recognize that it sounds better than many much more expensive guitars that you may have played. This concert level guitar is a great find from one Japan's highest award winning luthiers.
