This is really cool. You are looking at a 1996 Gibson Les Paul Studio Alpine White Finsh w / Gold Hardware, with a Original Gibson Hard Shell Case. This Les Paul is in Good "Players"Condition!Looking for all of the looks and tone of a REAL USA MADE LES PAUL but don't want the high price tag? The Les Paul Studio is the answer! All of the important Les Paul specs are here. Mahogany body with a maple top for big tone. One piece mahogany neck with a trapezoid inlayed ebony fingerboard. 490R and 498T humbuckers dish out big tone. A Stopbar tailpiece and Tuneomatic bridge team up with Kluson style tuners for rock solid performance. The Alpine White lacquer finish is set off nicely by gold plated hardware. A great looking guitar at an affordable price! The Les Paul Studio is one of the best deals around. Great tone and feel. This is a great opportunity to grab a killer instrument.The Studio model is one of Gibson's best deals. You get a real USA made Les Paul for about half the price of a Standard Les Paul. **Headstock Repair**Because of the Angled Headstock, Gibson's are notorious for Cracked Headstocks. It is commonly referred to as the "Gibson Smile" this usually happens when the guitar is either dropped or falls over out of it's stand. The crack is at the base of the headstock where it meets the neck. Our Luthier professionally repaired this and re-painted that part of the back of the neck going into the headstock. It is solid and tight. Stronger than when new. Crack is only slightly visible. (See picture #8, use zoom feature). The main part of the repair cannot really be seen. There is a very small cosmetic crack still visible.This Les Paul has nice feel and tone. The neck is straight, the action is low and the frets are good. The pickups sound nice and warm. All electronics work as they should. I’ve sold tons of Les Paul Studios over the years. They offer players a lot of USA MADE Gibson guitar at a great price!Our luthier did a complete setup. Cosmetics: Good Condition. This is a "Players" guitar, meaning that there is some wear from use. There are scuffs, scratches, chips, dings and dents on both sides of the guitar. Cool wear marks around the edges of the lower bout on both inside as well as outside edges. (See picture #12). Around all the edges there is this type of wear. There are some very light strumming scratches on the pickguard. The back has some very light buckle rash scratches. Gold Hardware is faded. The 2nd string tuner is bent slightly but still works just fine. Neck, Fretboard and Headstock in great shape. Original Gibson Hard Shell Case has a few scuffs, scratches and minor tears in the tolex. Combination lock does not work. All latches work. Interior is fine. Solid and tight. Dripping with "Mojo" It is used. Not perfect. Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story.
