1959 Fender JazzmasterI bought this guitar many years ago. I've hardly ever played it. I was told it has original parts and the body has been refinished. The body does look to have been refinished. There is a date of 12/59 under the bridge pickup.The pickups, pickguard, pots ,bridge etc. all look original. One of the pots has the number 3595 137.950 on it. The other pot looks the same. The neck is dated 12/5?. The tuners are non-original. The neck is a slim C shape. The action is low. There is wear on the sides of the neck and on the fretboard.The frets are low, not sure if they are original.The neck doesn't seem to buzz. The pickups sound great! The bridge pickup quacks like a strat. The neck pickup is deep and rich sounding. The middle position sounds great too! The tailpiece looks original. Three of the saddles look newer. The tailpiece kind of wobbles in the body when the strings are very loose. When the strings are tuned there is no movement. I don't know if there are inserts that are missing or not. The guitar might need a set up after I removed the pickguard off the body. The case looks original.I am a guitar player/ collector. I am not an expert or music store. Please ask any question.
