These aqua FLAMED tops are extremely rare and sought after. This is a true investment piece as it was an extremely short run in this aqua FLAME top after this small flamed top batch Epiphone only made it in a plain top. There is no better finish for a Les Paul. This aqua flame is a jaw dropper!! It sounds just is good as my other Gibsons you'll see it for yourself. The supplier who gave this to me told me that this guitar being an exceptionally gorgeous example was used to display this Les Paul line for the new model year at a music show so it was sent to a refurbisher to certify that it is in the perfect working order which it is in after it was displayed as a gorgeous example in the aqua flame finish, thats the explanation for the used stamp on the back.
