courtois 106 chambard cornet.one of the finest cornets around.played by many top players such as mark wilkinson of fodens.beautifully made,lovely sound good valves,,and i feel it is better in the upper register than many other types.i had this brought over from france last year.i have had the laquer removed from the bell and leadpipe,and then professionally hand polished.it looks-and sounds superb!comes in a besson sovereign case,which has plenty room for mutes etc,,and other bits of kit we all seem to carry around on gigs etc.i no longer need it cos i have gone back to my first love--flugel horn.be a shame to have it sat on top of the wardrobe doing nothing.
