Wine Red 2012 Gibson Traditional Pro II in excellent condition. The stock pickups (Super '57 bridge and '57 Classic neck) have been replaced with a Gibson Burstbucker 3 at the bridge and a Burstbucker 2 at the neck -- I prefer this combination, I found the '57 Classic too dark for the neck position, and the BB 3 has a more interesting midrange and a fuller low-end than the Super '57. I also prefer the look of the nickel covers. Coil-tapping is still functional as with the stock pickups. The stock boost circuit also remains, and is very handy! It's very clean and quickly becomes addictive for solos or just juicing an amp in general. The frets show almost no perceptible wear. The '60s profile neck, with factory PLEK setup, is wonderfully playable. The Grover locking tuners are the most solid I have ever used; I have refitted several other guitars with these after discovering them on this guitar. The back and sides of the neck and body have a satin nitrocellulose finish; it's very smooth, it doesn't grab your skin like a gloss finish. The AA maple cap has a gloss nitrocellulose finish. The body is weight-relieved, like Traditionals, but not completely chambered, like post-2008 Standards -- it weighs about 8.8 pounds. There are a few small scratches on the back of the body; I could not get them to show up in photographs. Otherwise the finish is flawless. The frets have been polished and it has been strung with a fresh set of Ernie Ball .046 - .010 Slinkies.Original case and all accessories included. If you are a coder, or perhaps a gamer from back in the day, you may find this guitar's serial number interesting for two reasons. I leave discovering them as a riddle for you to decipher with the help of this link! Thanks for looking, please feel free to message me with any questions!
