Today, we're very pleased to offer this Vintage 1987 Maxxas by Ibanez MX3 Electric Guitar w/Hardshell Case! It has been gently owned and is in very good condition with light, normal wear one would expect with a vintage instrument. This extremely rare bird features a unique semi-hollow, thin-edged sculpted mahogany body, bolt-on color-matched painted 22-fret maple neck, DiMarzio-made IBZ/USA humbuckers, HQ synchronized tremolo bridge and locking tuning machines. Introduced in 1988 and discontinued in 1989, though this particular one was actually built in 1987 (serial #F743995). A very hard to find, high-quality Japanese-made instrument that looks, plays and sounds great! A block of solid Honduras Mahogany is split into top and back, then carved inside and out to produce resonant tone chambers. The rosewood 22 fret neck is attached using our All Access Neck Joint to provide an effortless reach to the highest fret.Maxxas' tuning stability is insured by Magnum Lock locking tuners. Used in conjunction eith the stainless steel HQ bridge, the Magnum Lock gears furnish ease of tuning as well as rock-solid return to pitch.
