Greetings,... You either want a real tree or a third and fourth quality wood sold today (called black limba). That black limba was rarely allowed to be used in natural finishes by highly reputable and well known companies - read!So with that tiny connotation I'd like to keep this short and simple. If it weren't for a 2mm neck pocket scratch (which is inevitable to happen on any bolt on neck) the guitar is virtually new. No swirls, no small scratches - nothing, as it just came from the factory. I can't express how resonant this piece is... Also, if it were to carry the Gibson logo this would have been over $12k instrument - think about it - these exotic trees are so hard to find and they are so expensive today, it's unreal. Why? Because the supply is very limited, especially for such a high grade korina as this one - look at it, there isn't even one small imperfection in the wood anywhere .. Everything else is as on a brand new guitar!I had the guitar set up after taking the photos and I can tell you - it's perfect. Regardless, how you look at it. Don't let something that a digital camera can't capture keep you away from a very limited edition of 5 made for the Amp Show in NY in 2012! Yes - 5 only!Original hard shell and other goodies included! Oh, and let me know when you find a Suhr with such a crystal clear korina!!!!!!!Thanks.
