I have spoken to Mike personally to confirm this. I bought the guitar new, from Merchant City Music in Glasgow. It cost me £1,339.00. The build quality is exceptional. It is so easy to play it feels like cheating!The guitar features a satin smooth neck and fretboard, a super stable Wilkinson Bridge, locking Gotoh vintage-style tuners, and a pair of Wilkinson humbucker pickups with Alnico V magnets.The guitar also features Wilkinson's innovative Varicoil control. This allows each of the humbuckers to also function as single coils. Unlike a simple coil-tap, Varicoil means you can blend in the second coil of each humbucker simply by turning the control knob. "10" is full humbucker, "1" is full single coil, "2"-"9" = everything in between! With the 3-position pickup switch, and the Varicoil control, this is an extremely versatile guitar capable of most styles of music.This instrument will compete with most U.S.A built Stratocasters, and will blow a lot of them out of the water. The guitar has been used very lightly and is in absolutely fantastic condition with no chips, scrapes, dings, dents or fretwear. There are some light surface scratches on the scratchplate, but signs of use are absolutely minimal.Original Tremolo arm and Allen keys are present.Included in the sale is the genuine Hiscox made, Fret King branded hard case that came with the guitar, also in excellent condition.
