1964 Rogers 6.5x14 Chrome / Brass Powertone Snare DrumUp for grabs is a very rare 1964 (Transition Period) Rogers Powertone snare in the more uncommon 6.5x14 deep model. The year marks the transition from bread & butter to beavertail lugs. The drum has the original clockface strainer assembly along with the extended throw arm used on deeper shell snares. Drums from this year would typically be outfitted with Tall Boy hoops, however this drum has Cleveland correct triple flange hoops instead. The snare strands are stamped Rogers. The backing plate on the strainer is a replacement plate that works well. The shell has serveral typical scratches, slight dents and the hardware has some mild pitting... however no modification have been made to the drum. Otherwise in great playing condition!
