Selling custom made Greek Tambouras / prewar bouzouki. Instrument can be tuned both as tambouras (using thin saz strings) as cC-gG-CC or gG-dD-A or as prewar bouzouki using modern bouzouki strings for 6 string bouzouki.Instrument was built by Ioannis Tourkos (aka Ioannes Turek) in 2015 based on vintage (matured) mandolin shell old almost 100 years, which is a method originated from prewar Greece where vintage Italian mandolin shells were often used to build new greek instruments.Instrument has very nice tone that can be used both for old-time rembetika or for traditional (folklore) music. Soft-case included for free.Instrument will be sent well packed in hard paper/wooden case using insured mail. Shipping comes for free. Taxes or any other import duties are not covered!
