Fender now calls this model the Classic Player but many of the specs are the same. Ash body for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale one piece Flamed maple neck features a 9.5 radius maple fingerboard with medium jumbo frets and abalone dot inlays. Check out the cool figure on this one! 2 Modern Classic single-coil pickups (neck, middle), 1 Hot Classic single-coil pickup (bridge) with S1 Switching. The bridge is a unique affair and features a modern 2 point style baseplate but with Deluxe saddles and a milled solid steel block. Standard Fender tuners keep everything rock solid. The body is finished in a gorgeous 50s style Vintage Blonde nitro lacquer. A really great looking Guitar. If Custom Shop quality is what you crave this may be your guitar!If you are tired of wimpy frets, this would make a great choice. The flatter radius and medium jumbo frets make bending a breeze. The Modern Classic single-coil pickups work and sound great as do the electronics. This is a "Closet Queen" clean guitar too. In fact it looks like it came out of the factory yesterday. Check out the Flame on this neck! Gloss-Finished AAAA+ flamed Maple neck. And yes this is probably the nicest Flamed neck i have ever owned. Absolutely spotless. Comes in original hard-shell case with a pile of case candy and COA. This is an impressive package for anyone that can appreciate a good Strat.
