This instrument was purchased in a new condition in 2006. It has spent most of it's life in the case. This instrument was hand-selected by the President of Zeta at the time and was set up at the factory for sweet action. It has an active pre-amp (key alarm-type battery that is accessed via the 2 screws that hold the jack plate in place). It sounds wonderful, both acoustically and electrically, and it plays flawlessly. As you can see it is well flamed throughout and quite beautiful! A few very minor dings (pictured), but it is super clean and there are no issues whatsoever. I doubt you will ever find a nicer acoustic-electric 5-string violin. These sell new for $1960.
