(now aged to a beautiful honey amber)
Original Vintage Made in USA 1962 VINTAGE FENDER STRATOCASTER.
SUPER RARE..
SUPER MOJO ...in fact, more genuine players mojo than you could ever poke a stick at .
A very old refinish but .....This particular guitar has a flame maple slab fingerboard on a light weight 2 piece ash body. 1962 Fender Strat almost always had a rosewood slab fingerboard, so this one must have been a special order.
YES !, SLAB MAPLE BOARDMostly original parts. Original replaced tuners, Original bridge with Pat Pend Fender saddles, Original guard with shield, pickup covers and switch tip. Original pickups with the bridge and middle pickups having been rewound.In the detailed parts link you can see the neck pocket being considerable remnants of red paint which indicates that it would have been Fiesta red originally.The neck is quite a small profile and a narrow nut. I will edit and put up more details over coming days or as questions come in. I will offer as much detail as required.This is an expensive item, transport and insurance will be important factors and you will need to discuss these matters with me along with the all important details on this wonderful guitar.Original early 60's vintage Australian made
Stamford case.I have owned this particular guitar myself for about 13-14 years...and I have loved it's playability and tone...and looks.The decision to sell has not been taken lightly, but my decision has been made and someone will be more than pleased to be the next owner, player and caretaker of this lovely rare guitar.Please see further down the page for more details
