This is a like new, mint Heritage USA, Golden Eagle 6 years old from 2011. It is nearly, if not completely dead mint. I, t is a carved archtop hollow body electric jazz archtop with 17" lower bout.  Spruce quartersawn carved top, over a maple back and sides carved body.  Single floating pickup.   The neck is flamed maple, and is tapered along the style of a Les Paul Custom.  The fretboard is ebony, thankfully.  The headstock has the ornate heritage inlay, with ornate Grover tuners.  The serial number is on the back of the head stock and in the body cavity label.  There is a COA hang tag with the year of build.  Made completely in the USA , and ships in the Heritage logo original Hard shell case.  Please note that these Golden Eagles are hand carved from slabs of wood.  As such they are subject to reverberation and feedback from amplification.  For that reason many performers used laminates to get around that.  But carved solid wood archtops remain the gold standard for jazz players and collectors.  Joe Pass, Jimmy Bruno, Tal Farlow,  and John Pizzerelli no name a few all use or used laminates on stage.   However Wes used, of course, his carved L5.  This guitar has been strung with flat-wound Thomastik-Infleld Jazz strings from Austria.    See photos below.
