Price Reduced! Up for sale is a custom shop USA Dean Cadillac crafted in 2012 and includes a 'factory installed' Fernandes Sustainer! Back of headstock is signed by Dean Guitars CEO Elliott Rubinson. I personally ordered this guitar from the Florida Dean Custom Shop at a cost of $4,800.00. Not only is this one of the only USA model Cadillac's you'll ever see with Floyd Rose, but again, it is the only one on the planet with a factory installed Fernandes Sustainer just like Neal Schon and Steve Vai uses. If you've not played a guitar with a Fernandes Sustainer, you're missing out big time! One of my all time favorite guitarists is Neal Schon. I always loved that his guitars had factory installed Fernandes Sustainers, so with that in mind, I sent Dean Guitars photos of Neal Schon's guitar and they actually designed this Cadillac with the Fernandes Sustainer in the design, engineering, and construction of this guitar. This unique 'American made' Dean Cadillac features: *Ultra fast U-shaped neck. This is a slightly thicker neck similar to 70s Les Paul's. In fact, it has a Gibson Les Paul feel, but blows the doors off of any new model very HIGH DOLLAR Les Pauls. *Real ebony wood fingerboard *Custom 'fret binding/capping' (just like a high end Les Paul has) *Gorgeous blue/green real abalone block inlays *AAA-flamed maple top *Mahogany body and neck *Grover tuners *EMG active pick-up in bridge *Fernandes Sustainer in neck *Pro-level 'real' Floyd Rose. The Floyd does have a little bit of tarnish from sweaty palming, but no big deal. *Weighs a little over 10 pounds. *Finish is called 'Faded Denim' *Comes with USA quality construction extremely heavy-duty Dean hardshell case, which is built like a tank. *Playability/action is freaking phenomenal. *Sound is superb! This guitar is my pride and joy - and I truly hate to part with it, but sort of forced too at this time. This is a 'players guitar' and has been my main axe. While I've tried to baby it as much as possible, as any guitar that is played often, it has some imperfections. However, all it has is virtually unnoticeable surface scratches on back, but the top is perfect. And as mentioned above, there is a bit of tarnish on the Floyd Rose -- but it's no big deal. Other than that, it's in near-perfect shape. Everything works as it should!! For any Dean Caddy fan, this is a must have! I paid a little over $5,000.00 with taxes and shipping, but I'm willing to part with this gem for $2,500.00, plus $50.00 shipping to lower 48-states.
