Please also view my other listings for classical guitars.This listing is for a beautiful looking and excellent sounding 1989 Masaru Kohno Professional J guitar which looks and sounds as good as the Kohno Professional J New York based Classical Guitarist Michael Lorimer tried in person and offered me $5000 for it three years ago.This guitar is in show-room condition.
It has rarely been played since it was given to my brother-in-law by his father in 1992.
There are only a few very slight surface scratches that can only be seen at a certain angle.
It has no cracks and no repairs.
The fingerboard and frets are in excellent condition.
Even the original Gotoh tuning machines and the hardware on the original case look mint.This guitar has spruce top, 650mm scale length, and 52mm nut width.
The action at the 12th fret is 2.5mm and 3.5mm for the 1st string and 6th string respectively.
There is still some saddle left.
It is very easy to play.This Kohno guitar has strong resonant basses and clear full body trebles.
I especially like the 1st string which is very sweet on all registers.This guitar comes with a hard shell arch top case.Please note that the shipping will be between $20 and $107 depending on your location.
