Description Brand: Fender Model: Deluxe Exact Year: 1962 Country/Region of Manufacture: United States
Used 1962 Fender brown DeluxeI purchased this Deluxe 10 years ago from a local guitar and amp shop. The amp had some mods removed and returned to the best original specs the shops Amp Tech could achieve. I have no clue what those mods may have been. The amp is not all original( like the speaker and a 3 prong cord installed....and maybe some caps and pots) but I have provided photos to help identify and date parts for authentic and original parts intact. My understanding at the time of purchase was... there may have been a pot or two replaced also maybe some caps (but as I was photographing.. sure looked original to me).... the speaker is a nicely reconed vintage p12R w/bell.. less than 2 hours playing time. In the ten years I've owned this Brown it never made it to the stage ..I've made my living as an acoustic guitar player. The amp has sat in the corner. I Plugged in with a vintage Tele at the shop and laid it away with a healthy deposit required on the spot. There is a little half moon burn on the telex above the volume nob on the bright channel.... seemed appropriate that a hot amp would have a burn mark. Do your thing...... if you choose .. tubes and your favorite speaker selection. Classic brown tone and volume. Please feel free to share your knowledge of this model 6g3 w/me .. ask any questions. The amp is like dynomite !!
