Estimated price for orientation: 1 197 $

Description Model: Vintage Brand: Fender Series: Vintage Exact Year: 1972
Up for auction is a Vintage 1972 Fender Mustang in Competition Red with Racing Stripes. If your looking for a guitar that has been stored in the closet for 45 years, this is NOT it...this guitar has been relic'd the old fashioned way....it has been played A LOT. There are plenty of wear marks and chips...the frets have considerable wear and the fretboard has sizeable divots, especially from the 3rd to 10th fret. Both pick-up selector switches have the potential to cut in and out, when you find "that" spot, when in the position closest to the neck. I presume the switches need a blast of contact cleaner. The guitar ships with the original case...both locks work but the hasp in the middle is missing. All this being said, this is a SUPER COOL vintage guitar with tons of mojo and has some really nice finish checking. Even comes with what I believe is the original polish cloth (although I can't confirm that). I purchased this guitar from Killer Vintage in St Louis a few years ago. My 1st electric was an early 70's Fender Mustang just like this, which is why I bought it. I hate to get rid of it but I don't play it...it's just hanging on the wall...time to find a new home....thanks and good luck!Ships only to US lower 48 states.
