New Greenbrier F-7E F-Style Mandolin with Case - Solid Hand Carved Spruce & Solid hand Carved Flamed Maple*Active System Pickup Installed with Tuner during the Build Process****Made in the USA** Howdy folks. I have here a beautiful solid hand carved F-style mandolin built here in my shop. I installed an active system preamp, UK-300T with built in tuner during the build process. And the pickup is built into the bridge. If you play mandolin, you know it is very hard to find a good pickup for them. And almost none have a preamp built in, let alone one that is balanced properly for mandolin. After searching for years, and trying all the big name brands, this hand made bridge pickup coupled with the UK-300T preamp sounds the very best. The top is made of solid hand carved and graduated spruce with custom fit scalloped spruce tone bars. The neck is fitted with a rosewood fretboard, polished bone nut (1 1/8th inch, 3 cm) and an adjustable truss rod. The neck, back and sides are carved from solid flamed maple. The flaming on this beauty is the finest I have ever worked with. I put on an AXL solid cast tailpiece and trumpeted the F-holes. The finish is a hand rubbed oil with my custom staining formula. The sound is very full, woody and resonant. The mandolin is new. The case shown is included. Features: Solid Hand Carved & Graduated Spruce Top
