What makes this guitar special: A modest build with top notch sound, this Martin OMCPA4 Rosewood is the perfect mix of versatility and value. It boasts a fantastic range for a guitar of its size, starting with a robust low end that perfectly compressed with aggressive playing yet still retains excellent definition up into its subtly scooped mid-range center and crisp top end. Its inherent tone is beautifully translated by the built-in Fishman F1 Analog electronics system which provides players a pleasantly transparent step in the amplification process but still allows a bit of tonal tweaking. Aesthetically, its look is relatively simple but exceedingly tasteful. Its Sitka spruce top has a slightly deeper hue than most and one that is well-complemented by the rich, gorgeous grains of its East Indian Rosewood back and sides. Its visual contrast is centered around a two-ring black and white rosette and matching black and white purfling, the pair of which frame its body shape. The Performance Artist Profile neck is exceedingly easy to play, feeling much more like an electric guitar than a chunkier traditional shape. Plus, this guitar is still in fantastic shape for a used guitar, comes with all the original paperwork and case candy and includes a professional in-house setup so it plays great as soon as it’s tuned to pitch. Cosmetic Condition: This guitar is in near mint condition, if not better. It shows almost no signs of wear whatsoever besides a stray light surface scratch here or there, as well as a small nick in the back binding and even those need the right light and angle to even notice. The frets are still in perfect shape. The truss rod, tuning machines, and electronics have all been fully tested and function perfectly. Body: OM single cutaway body with Natural gloss finish solid Sitka spruce top and satin finish solid East Indian rosewood back and sides. White top binding with black and white striped purfling, white back binding. Two-ring black and white rosette. Tortoiseshell pickguard. Traditional rectangle black richlite bridge with 16” radius compensated tusq saddle and white bridge pins with black dots. Weight: 4 lbs 8.2 ozNeck: Performing Artist Profile select hardwood neck with satin finish and black richlite fingerboard with dot inlays. Chrome sealed tuning machines. 1 ¾” tusq nut. 25.4” scale length. Electronics: Fishman F1 AnalogCase: Original Martin hardshell case.
