Almost never played, still has the second set of string it's ever had. Originally bought by someone that decided it was too hard to learn to play and sold it to me. I own many banjos and almost never play it my self so I thought I'd give someone else a chance. Gold tone produces quality instruments at a good price and I believe are a good value, I own a couple others. You would be bidding on a top of the line open-back 5-string banjo. It has a White Lady style tone ring and a fancy tree-of-life on the fingerboard done in mother of pearl and abalone. The peg head is also heavily adorned with inlay and sport geared planetary tuners. It has a geared 5th-string tuner and optional railroad spikes at the 7th, 9th, and 10th frets. This banjo includes a soft-sided rigid shell case. I already play a Tuba-phone plus a couple others and am getting more interested in minstrel banjos and lighter, softer banjos than big tone-ringed banjos and this one is low man on the totem pole.
